Our Mission is to teach God's Word, to show His Love, to serve as a beacon to all, and to share faith in Jesus Christ.
Messiah is a growing congregation that recently celebrated its 125th birthday! We are a very active church that has members of all ages. Messiah is also home to the Messiah Lutheran Nursery Program, a preschool program for ages 3, 4 and 5. The church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Delaware Maryland Synod. Messiah is located in the Sykesville/Eldersburg area of Carroll County, Maryland.

is held at 10:30 am in Celebration Hall
Messiah Snow Policy If the Carroll County Snow Emergency Plan is in effect, the 9 am service and Sunday School will be cancelled.
The church answering machine will be updated to announce if any services are cancelled.
Messiah members will be notified of church

Vacation Bible School will be held July 8 - 12, 2013. VBS welcomes children ages 3 through 6th grade.

Rose Felter Scholarships
Members of Messiah that are considering an education beyond high school may apply for a Rose Felter Scholarship.
Applicants must have been accepted to a college or trade school. The deadline for applying is June 2, 2013. For more information,
