Sunday School
Messiah has an active Sunday School program. Sunday School is held during the school year at 10:30 am in Celebration Hall. Each Sunday School year is kicked off after Labor Day with ‘Rally Day’, which includes an ice cream party. The Sunday School children perform a Christmas program for the congregation every year. Spring brings special Easter celebrations, and the end of the Sunday School year is capped off with a ‘Bible Blessings Service’. During this regular church service, the children show the congregation what they have learned during the year.
Children's choir is also a big part of the Sunday School program. The children's choir meets right after Sunday school and sings during a Sunday service once a month.
The Lords Children
Youth programs at Messiah also include TLC (The Lords Children). This group of elementary school age children meets three times a year for Bible lessons, games, crafts and special snacks.
Confirmation Program
Messiah’s Confirmation Program is for 7th and 8th grade students wishing to learn more about the Lutheran Church and beliefs. This two year program ends with the students becoming members of the church.
High School Sunday School Class
The High School Sunday School class discusses current topics and meets one Sunday a month at Duncan Donuts.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is held annually for children ages 3 through 6th grade. This week long event includes Bible stories, games, crafts, skits and snacks.
