Strawberry Festival Vendors Sign-Up

We are now taking reservations for craft and flea market spaces. The spaces are 20ft by 20ft and cost $50 (non-refundable). Please respond early if interested. Spaces are assigned on a first come first serve basis.  Applications will be received up to June 8, 2023, but will require cash payment if received between June 1 and June 8. 
 

Please note that you may park your vehicle in your space. HOWEVER, if your vehicle is longer than 20ft, it will be necessary to rent two spaces or unload your things and then park in the general parking area.  Vendors are responsible for their own setup (unloading, canopies, etc.).  
 
PLEASE READ AND MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING REGULATIONS AND INFORMATION: 
 

  1. Tables will not be provided. You must supply your own tables, chairs, secured canopies, etc. 

  2. A MD tax number or Vendor ID is required, even if you do only one show per year. Contact the Maryland State Sales Tax Office at 410-767-1543 in order to acquire a temporary or permanent tax number. The state tax sales department consider us a major show and will be on site to check for your tax number.

  3. The festival will be held rain or shine. There will be NO REFUNDS due to inclement weather. 

  4. Please be reminded, anyone renting a space MAY NOT sell guns, knives or alcoholic beverage related items. ALSO, renters may not do face paintings or operate any games. We reserve the right to limit specialty vendors to one per item. This includes Tupperware, 31 Bags, Longaberger and other home party items, etc.

  5. You MAY NOT sell food or distribute any food samples to be consumed on site, unless you have prior health dept. permit and we have a copy of that permit (this will be enforced due to Health Dept. regulations)

Set-up begins no earlier than 6:00 AM and must be completed by 9:00 AM. Those arriving after 8am will have difficulty in getting to their assigned space and thus are not guaranteed that space because of late arrival. When you arrive, check in at grounds entrance from Route 32, not the Niner Road entrance, look for pick-up truck with “Vendor Check-in” sign at vendor area, and we will take you to your assigned space.

Exhibitors agree that Messiah Lutheran Church and all of its members shall not be responsible for any injuries or damages caused by or to any guest agent, employee or invitee of the exhibitors(s) upon the premises and agree to indemnify and save harmless Messiah Lutheran Church and members from any claims arising there from.
