Our Mission is to teach God's Word, to show His Love, to serve as a beacon to all, and to share faith in Jesus Christ.
Messiah is a growing congregation that recently celebrated its 125th birthday! We are a very active church that has members of all ages. Messiah is also home to the Messiah Lutheran Nursery Program, a preschool program for ages 3, 4 and 5. The church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Delaware Maryland Synod. Messiah is located in the Sykesville/Eldersburg area of Carroll County, Maryland.

A traditional service is held at 9:30 am during June, July and August.
Sunday School will resume in the fall.
Messiah Snow Policy If the Carroll County Snow Emergency Plan is in effect, the 8:30 am service and Sunday School will be cancelled.
The 11:00 am service may be held, depending on the weather. Please call the church to find out if the 11:00 service has been
cancelled.
The church answering machine will be updated to announce if any services are cancelled.
Messiah members will be notified
of church closings via email.

Many thanks to everyone who supported or visited our Strawberry Festival! Our festival was a huge
success this year. We'll see everyone again next year!
Fall Schedule Resumes on September 12!
On Sunday, September 12, Messiah will return to the fall schedule. There will be traditional
services at both
8:30 am and 11:00 am. Sunday School will be held at 9:45 am in Celebration Hall.
